Operation Productivity and Continuous Improvement
These are concepts that are as important today as when they were developed and are part of the reason for the success of world-changing companies like Amazon. When companies step away from these ideas, they fail. Using modern case studies as well as fascinating stories from industrial history, this workshop helps participants develop and manage continuous improvement strategies, set realistic goals, overcome resistance to change, secure buy-in, and sustain momentum, for any organization, whether private or public sector, a department, or a startup - in tune with the demands and circumstances of today's business ecosystem.
Students will learn how to understand and measure their current state and then set targets and visualize improvements. We will discuss concepts related to performance measures, benchmarking and best practices including Six-Sigma, kaizen, and the politics involved.
This workshop is not intended to deliver an exhaustive education on each of these complex topics, but instead delivers the essential components of each, using up-to-date case studies and keeping the topics in context with today's high-speed and volatile economy, and I deliver the topics in a way that is engaging and interesting.
